The San Francisco International Asian American Film Festival (SFIAAFF) chose PRISON DANCER: the Interactive Web Musical as its closing night gala presentation on March 15th, 2012. It's the first time a web series was presented as the closing night gala presentation at the film festival. The special “performative cinema” event included video, live performances by cast members, and maestro-led audience participation.
